The Easiest Business You’ll Ever Start

Hey traders,

I’ve been around the block when it comes to different ways of making money. I’ve done everything from real estate to loaning out money (don’t get me started on that one).

But at the end of the day, I’ll tell you one thing — in my opinion, trading is hands-down the easiest business you’ll ever start.

Why?

Think about it: In most businesses, you have to deal with tenants, or inventory, or employees and more.

But with trading, you don’t need a physical location or to spend years learning complicated systems. All you need is the right strategy, a little bit of discipline, and the will to treat it like a business instead of a hobby.

You want an example? Covered calls. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — it’s tough to mess this strategy up. The only way you mess it up is by not sticking with it. As long as you’re selling calls above your cost basis, you can’t lose.

Let me break it down simply:

  • You buy 100 shares of a stock.
  • You sell an out-of-the-money call option against that stock.
  • You collect the premium, and if the stock doesn’t move, or moves just a little, you keep the stock and the premium.
  • Rinse and repeat.

Even if you do end up getting “called away” because the price rises above the strike price of your call, guess what? You made money on the stock AND the premium.

Then you turn around and sell naked puts until you get assigned the stock, all the while bringing in more income. Once you end up owning the stock again, you simply turn around and start selling covered calls again.

Here’s a simple diagram that shows you how you just keep going round and round:

I’ve used this for decades to generate income week in and week out. It’s not flashy. You’re not pulling in 200% gains overnight. But those smaller, consistent wins add up faster than you think.

So if you’re still on the fence, or you’re waiting for the “right time” to get started, let me tell you — there’s no perfect time.

Kobe Bryant once said, “The biggest lie we tell ourselves is that we have enough time.”

The time to start is right now. Treat this like a business and you’ll see that it’s the easiest one you’ll ever run.

Trade well,

Jack Carter
