The SEC approved 11 new Bitcoin spot ETFs on Wednesday afternoon and they started trading yesterday.
Did you get in on the craze? Quite honestly, it was a historic moment for Bitcoin and the financial world.
But that doesn’t mean it’s a great investment… yet. I made a bit of quick cash on it, but it was a fairly short lived opportunity. All the ETFs closed the day below their opening price.
But something else I’m doing is the exact opposite of short lived.
It’s an opportunity I’ve been cashing in every single month for over a year with a select group of traders.
And best of all, it hasn’t lost money in over a year of trading it.
It’s all based on a single stock and a special way of trading it that the CBOE has called “less risky than actually owning the stock outright.”
Here’s the basic gist of it:
- Pick a winning stock that has huge long term potential
- Buy 100 shares of it (or any multiple of 100 shares: 200, 300, 400, etc)
- Sell 1 call for every 100 shares of the stock that you own
- the strike price you pick can be up to 7-10% above the current stock price (but should never be less than your cost basis for the stock)
- the expiration date should be 30-40 days into the future
- the strike price you pick can be up to 7-10% above the current stock price (but should never be less than your cost basis for the stock)
- the expiration date should be 30-40 days into the future
- What you’ll find is that in most cases, the call option you sold expires worthless, meaning you keep the cash you collected from selling it.
- Every time this happens, you lower your cost basis on the stock and you simply repeat step 3 and 4.
- Over time, your cost basis on the stock gets so low that when you finally get called out, you make a massive profit on the stock — and you’ve been collecting cash every month just for holding it.
If you want to find out what stock I love doing this with every single month…
