Fortune Favors The Bold

Do you remember back in January and February people were predicting the end of the bull run?

I remember hearing things like, “How much higher can it go?” and “It’s gotta top out at some point!”

Meanwhile, the SPY and QQQ

Early in my career, I learned that trying to predict tops and bottoms isn’t worth the effort.

Maybe someone somewhere has a perfect system for it, but that’s not what I do.

That’s why I bring up the saying “fortune favors the bold.” Have you ever heard it before?

To me, it means taking calculated risks and sticking with the trend, even when it seems like it’s gone too far.

In my nearly 40 years of trading, I’ve found that trends are the best way to trade.

At every stage of a trend, it’s easy to say, “It’s come too far, it has to end at some point.”

But guess what? Strong trends start, and they only end once. Meanwhile, traders like me are making money the whole while.

Or take NVDA, for example: People have been predicting for a year now that the trend “HAD” to end, but the trend doesn’t care; it just marches on.

NVDA has just muscled itself to being the #2 most valuable company in the world.

And the latest news out of NVDA gives it massive new legs to run with.

People who closed out last week with 1 share of NVDA woke up this morning with 10 shares of NVDA after the 10-for-1 stock split.

And activity on NVDA options is going gangbusters.

Here’s how I plan to trade all the new activity.

Remember, fortune favors the bold.

Trade well,

Jack Carter
