Some folks like to fish where it’s easy.
Not me…
I like to go where the action is — where the premiums are fat, the volatility is real and the long-term story makes me want to own the stock no matter what happens by Friday.
That’s exactly why I’m working the space economy right now.
Space really is the final frontier — not just scientifically, but financially.
The sector is opening up fast, and when you combine that momentum with companies actually pushing boundaries, you get a landscape full of opportunity.
Between commercial launches, satellite networks and talk of data centers running off solar power in orbit, a wave is coming — and I want to be ahead of it.
The options pay so much because you’re dealing with a sector that swings. Volatility is not a problem for me — it’s the reason the premiums are worth selling in the first place.
When you’re in a space with this much upside potential, the market charges a lot for uncertainty. I’m happy to take that payment up front.
Underneath it all is a simple philosophy: I’m not trying to nail the bottom or dodge every wiggle. I’m building positions in companies I believe in, and I’m getting paid while I do it.
ASTS: I Took It at $92 and Not Bat an Eye
Here’s the setup: I sold the $92 put on ASTS expiring Friday.
If I get assigned, great. I’ll take it at $92 and be perfectly happy about it.
I’m not concerned at all. I like the stock, I’m sticking with it, it has strong action and I like the way it trades.
The options are rich because the sector moves, and that works in my favor. I get paid for owning the stock. If it never hits the strike, I keep the premium. If I do get assigned, I roll into covered calls.
That’s the wheel, and a name like this is built for it.
Rocket Lab: A Little Close, but the Premium Made It Worth It
Then there’s Rocket Lab (RKLB).
I sold the $69 put on this one — it was a little close, but it paid well.
And here’s the kicker: I’d be fine taking it at $69 and seeing it drop to $60. That wouldn’t bother me.
I’m not chasing perfection. I’m building a position with income attached.
What keeps me interested in the space economy is how fast it’s evolving.
Serious discussions about running data centers in orbit — using the sun for power and the vacuum of space for cooling — show how close this frontier really is.
There are risks, from space debris to geopolitical threats, but the fact that these ideas are no longer science fiction means companies already operating here have enormous room to run.
I don’t need every detail ironed out. I just need strong momentum, big potential and healthy premiums — and I’m getting all three.
Space, man — find a frontier.
